The City of London competes with New York for the title of the world’s leading centre for international finance. With over 250 foreign banks, plus the Bank of England and the London Stock Exchange, the City is a hub of financial activity. While now there is a growing residential population, there used to be a time where the City was a ghost town at the weekends, but not so any more.
